I wanted to renew my subscription but was shocked to see this. Is this the end for fsad or are you replacing the product?

Correct, since the FSAerodata navigation database will discontinue in December, 2021, the 13-cycle subscription is not available anymore.
There is no replacement.

is the product being replaced? is cuz of MSFS2020 is a factor now? what alternative do we have to update our Navdata for P3d folks?

No, there is no replacement. The main reason are additional development costs to update the security of the authentication system with Navigraph and the diminishing customer base that makes the product unprofitable.

Sad to read, had just resubscribed to fsAerodata after purchasing P3D today.

I was planning on purchasing the annual subscription, too.
