Patch available default ATC Voices - Issue ATIS Message

A replacement of the original ATC Voice database for FSX/Prepar3D is now available.
The patch fixes an issue where the ATIS Message is not displayed or broadcasted due to a bug when the active approach for the airport is of type ILS-X, ILS-X, ILS-Z, which are part of fsAerodata database.

Notice that using Editvoicepack will overrride the patch applied and revert to the original issue with ATIS messages.
Kind Regards,

Hi Jose,
I was not sure the extent we could justly scrutinize this patch (because of give and takes), so rather than report a couple specific problems I thought I would ask the general extent of (or if there were) problems expected from applying the patch and afterward running EVP.
The readme in the patch notes says "Editvoicepack can be run afterward, to enhance and upgrade the voice set."
But this announcement says EVP will override the patch and revert to the original issue. So I'm a little confused.
Thanks,
Paul

It's not compatible with EVP; I did a first test and had the impression it worked, but doesn't; EVP ovrewrites the modification.
I'll update the readme accordingly.
Nevertheless, at this time it's a temporary fix for some users that were discovering more and more airports with no ASIS message, and was becoming a bit inconvenient.
Sorry

Hope the two (FsAerodata and EVP) can coexcist in future update. I too ran in to the no ATIS at Tenerife North (GCXO) Airport. The FSAerodata patch solved the issue and I hear ATIS but the nice EVP features are gone. Speeding up default ATC voices, more verbal airline callsigns etc.

The ATIS bug has apparently not been fixed in P3Dv4.5.
Using your patch seems to work fine except the phraseology is incorrect.
Following the temp dewpoint report it should report for example "altimeter 29.92 visual runway... in use".
However immediately following temp it is reporting "29.92 in use runway... "
Hope that was understandable.
Really appreciate your product and your dedication to getting everything perfect.

This fix was intended to remove the broadcast of the approach type (e.g. ILS Y ), but does not modify the phrase broadcasted; probably this is possible with EditVoicePack but we don't know how to perform it, sorry.
There are news related to the ATC on the next weeks; please stay tuned for further information.
